Active Oceanfront Condos – Available for Sale:                  

There are currently 650 oceanfront condos available for sale in North Myrtle Beach. 

The lowest priced condo, at $ 109,000, is a 400-450 sq. ft efficiency unit located on the 18-th floor at Baywatch Resort, a four year old oceanfront project with great amenities.

The most expensive available condo in North Myrtle Beach, priced at $ 2,090,900,  is a 5 Bedroom, 4 Full Baths, 1 half bath, over 3,000 sq. ft. unit at the luxurious North Beach Plantation, currently under construction in the Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach.

Sold Oceanfront Condos – Transacted between January 1, 2008 to January 31, 2008

Only 11 oceanfront condos transacted in the North Myrtle Beach area during the month of January, 2008, thus, only 1.69% of available inventory sold during the month of January, 2008.

The lowest priced unit transacted at $ 152,000.  It was a 1BR/1BA unit at Beach Cove, in Windy Hill.  It was a furnished, 551 sq. ft. unit on the 6-th floor.

The highest priced unit transacted at $ 389,900.  It was a 2BR/2BA, 1,075 sq. ft. penthouse unit located on the 19-th floor at the Prince Resort in Cherry Grove.

The best buys of the month were:

A 2BR/2BA oceanfront condo at Crescent Beach Villas, sold for only $ 179,900.  The Buyer was represented by Buyers’ Choice’ own Darlene Olivo, the DARling of Real Estate.  The condo was fully furnished and measured 900 sq. ft.  The lucky buyers are delighted with their purchase.

A 3BR/3BA oceanfront condo at the new Avista Resort in the fine section of Ocean Drive sold for $ 385,000.  It grossed $ 48,516 in rental income last year.  It measured 1,500 sq. ft. and it was sold fully furnished.  Located on the 8-th floor, it was originally offered for sale at the price of $ 509,900 in July of 2007.
